San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We got the Chicken 65, garlic naan, and biryani rice. A con of this restaurant is that rice is not included with meals. You have to pay for everything separately. Prices are not too bad for San Fran. Do not get the chicken 65, it comes plain and dry. Get the chili chicken instead (we had ours changed to that). Garlic naan was good. Biryani rice was okay. Decent seating a little cramped. Not many people so that was nice. Mango lassi was good.

A decent restaurant with decent food. We ordered quite a few dishes. Most of them were good. Did not like the golden fried shrimp at all. Their Bombay vada pav was very good. Mutton chukka was also delicious. Their dosas looked amazing. Will try next time.

I love this place! I've tried a bunch of things from their menu (soups, veg/non-veg entrees, dosas) and they're all great. But my favorite is the gongura chicken biryani. I come in almost once a week just to have this. I come so much that the owner and staff know me and my order, even when I'm calling in a takeout order! And if they're reading this, they definitely know who I am 😁 I've been meaning to post a review for a long time but never had pictures to add because I'm always too excited to dig in!

A great place to dine in for Indian food. The masala dosa, vegetable Chettinad curry, and Vijayawada biryani were very tasty, and the gobhi manchurian was an absolute standout. The paneer 65 was quite dry, and the chili naan was just okay in taste.

Quite a surprise. Wasn't expecting much given the very generic Indian name, and unusually high ratings on Yelp and Google. However, every single dish was tasty. The service was professional and the ambience, nice. - Goat chukka dry: Mild spicy, goat was excellently cooked to the point of shredding - Shrimp curry leaf masala: a little bland to our liking. Could be spiced up a lot with crushed black pepper, and shallow fried onions - Egg dosa: nice texture, the egg is noticeable, batter felt fresh, chutneys and sambar were above average - Spicy Bullet Naan: generous dose of butter, soft, and tasty Street parking can be challenging to find based on time of the day / week. Overall, works as an option to come back, but likely wouldn't go out of my way to repeat.
